1 Introduction
we might encounter the error “invalid virtual disk” when we try to load the emulator. Here is a simple tutorial about how to fix “invalid virtual disk (InvalidMedium)” error on LDPlayer.
2 solutions
2.1 Try to solve the problem by clicking the “Fix” button and following the prompts.
2.2 Use it by creating a new emulator through the LDMultiplayer
STEP 1: Find the LDMultiplayer on your desktop and open it. (What is LDMultiplayer? Check this article:https://www.ldplayer.net/blog/introduction-to-ldmultiplayer.html)
STEP 2: Turn your attention to the New/Clone icon in the lower right corner and click it.
STEP 3: Click the “New Player” icon on the left.
STEP 4: Then, a new LDPlayer instance will be automatically generated by LDMultiplayer. Once the new instance was created, you just need to click the “Start” button to launch new one and delete the original instance on LDMultiplayer.
Attention: The data on the original instance won’t be saved in the new LDPlayer instance.
2.3 Restart your computer, close other related software, including antivirus software, and then uninstall and reinstall the emulator.
AVG Antivirus monitors and protects files on your system in real time, including virtual disk files associated with virtual machines (usually .vdi or .vmdk files). If AVG marks a virtual disk used by LD Player as a suspicious or high-risk file, it may block read and write operations, resulting in an error message. Please restart your computer, close other related software, including antivirus software, and then uninstall and reinstall the emulator.
2.4 Reinstall the system or change the system version
If the above three steps still can not be resolved, there is a high probability that the system causes, this time you need to reinstall the system or replace the system version to deal with.
