How to Restore a MSSQL Database by WebsitePanel
 

1 Example: Restore a SQL server 2012 Database  

1.1 Login to WebsitePanel

 

1.2 Click the SQL Server 2012

1.3 Choose the Database and Click the Database

1.4 Click “Maintenance Tools” and click “Restore”

1.5 Restore the SQL database

Choose the database backup file from the correct path, the format of database backup can be .bak or .zip.

1.6 Click “Restore”

1.7 Restoration is completed.

You will find that the database size is changed if it has been restored successfully.
If the database is larger than 200MB, it is highly suggested to restore the database by SSMS. Otherwise, the restoral process will halt or fail.
