How to Add Service into SolidCP

1Introduction

This tutorial will show you how to integrate Windows service, such as Microsoft FTP service, MySQL, Mail, Microsoft DNS service, into SolidCP for production use.

2Login to SolidCP

Login to SolidCP as ‘serveradmin’ and click "Servers" under “Cofiguration” tab.

3Click the Server Name to Add the Service

 

4Add the FTP Service

4.1Choose FTP service and click "Add"

4.2Select a FTP Service Provider

Please choose a FTP service provider from the Service Provider drop down list, then click “Add Service” to continue. There are 6 FTP Services Provider options. If your server is Windows Server 2012 Operating System and you have also installed Microsoft FTP service in the server, choose Microsoft FTP server 8.0 as FTP Services Provider while Windows 2008 Operating System server is using Microsoft FTP server 7.0 as FTP Services Provider.

4.3Update the Settings

5Add the SmarterMail Service

5.1Return to the Service Configuration Page, and Choose Mail and click "Add"

5.2Select “Mail Service Provider”

Please choose SmarterMail service provider from the Service Provider drop down list, then click “Add Service” to continue. If your SmarterMail service Edition is 10.x or up, choose "SmarterMail 10.x +"

5.3Enter SmarterMail Password (admin) and Click "Update" to Save the Settings

 
 

6Add MySQL5 service

6.1Return to the Service Configuration Page. Choose MySQL5 and Click "Add"

6.2Select “MySQL5” Service Provider

Please choose MySQL5 service edition from the Service Provider drop down list, then click “Add Service” to continue.

6.3How to Add MySQL5 Service Configuration and Update

Please enter the correct MySQL5 service configuration such as Internet IP is localhost:3306 or 127.0.0.1:3306. The external IP address should be your server IP and MySQL5 port 3306. For example, if your server IP is XX.XX.XX.XX, the External IP  of MySQL5 connection is XX.XX.XX.XX:3306.

7Add DNS service

7.1Return to Service Configuration Page, Choose DNS Option and Click "Add"

7.2Select “DNS Service Provider”

Please choose DNS service provider from the Service Provider drop down list, then click “Add Service” to continue. If your Windows Server 2012 has installed with Microsoft DNS service, please choose Microsoft DNS server 2012+ as Service Provider.

7.3Setup the DNS Service Configuration and Update
