Problem

When you install Hyper-V in Microsoft Windows Server 2008, Hyper-V did not start. You received the following error messages in the event logs:

Solution

Re-start the server and login to BIOS. Go to Advanced > Advanced Processor Options. Enable Intel(R) Virtualization Technology and reboot the server. Now you should get Hyper-V successfully started. .
